Argan Oil: Food for your face, hair and nails

Morocco is the place to be!!!

I say this with full confidence after discovering “the gem” which led me to drop a number of my day to day cosmetic products. For the past years, I have tried countless amounts of various products for my hair, skin and nails. Some gave results (slow) and others were simply just a waste of money. Like me, many people are looking for solutions to their cosmetic problems. Oftentimes these troubles are naturally-occurring on the skin surface. They may be due to a number of reasons, the most well-known of which is old age. As we age, our skin becomes drier and scalier, and the natural moisture and smoothness of the body is gone. This is the reason why so many beauty products are being formulated continuously.

Coincidentally, I met up with an old friend which I haven’t seen in years. I was flabbergasted by how great she looked. She was literally glowing! Obviously, I had to ask her what her secret was. Argan oil, she said. Minutes into our conversation, I came to learn that this magic oil (argan oil) is the biggest cosmetic outbreak of the 21st century. She explained that argan oil is her complete beauty package in maintaining a youthful healthy look through an eco-friendly alternative.

I couldn’t wait to get home and Google the benefits of the oil. I found that the oil can only be found in a tree that is endemic in Morocco which is the argan tree. Argan oil is plant oil that is made from the kernels of the argan tree and it is highly regarded because of its nourishing cosmetic and health benefits. It is made up of tocopherols, natural vitamin E constituents. FYI, vitamin E is a popularly known cosmetic supplement because its primary function is promoting healthy hair, skin, and nails. Argan oil also has high unsaturated fatty acid content, which is good for the whole body. Unsaturated fatty acids are great for keeping the heart healthy and cholesterol levels down. It is extremely rich in proteins and antioxidants. Apart from these, the natural oils and acids found in Moroccan oil are best used for moisturizing the skin. Because of its highly nutritive and cosmetic value, argan oil has really captured the attention of both skin care manufacturers and consumers.

Since then, I have yet to buy any artificial cosmetic products. I choose to stick to the Argan Intensive Treatment offered by Sea of Herbs. I wish you too will fall in love with the miracle plant.
